Q: Are guests responsible for cleaning?
A: The host will take care of all cleaning—this is your time to relax and have fun. Please leave your beds unmade, hang towels on hooks or place in the laundry baskets, and put your dirty glasses in the bucket and trash in the garbage cans throughout the retreat. We take care of the rest!
Q: I need lodging quickly- Can I book something within 60 days?
A: Yes- Send a message and we do everything we can to accommodate your stay.
Q: What is a Quilt Retreat?
A: A Quilt retreat is a place where you and your friends or family can stay to work on projects or just hang out and relax. It's like an Airbnb with additional workspace.
Q: I don't have a project but I'm looking for a place for me and my friends to stay for a wedding weekend, a place where we can hang out together. Can we do that at your Inn?
A; Yes! absolutely.
Q: I see the owners live on the premises. Is there shared living area, like at a bed and breakfast?
A: No- we live in the back part of the house. It is separated and you have your own space as well as your own entry.
Q: Is there interaction with the owners?
A: Only if you want it, for instance, for a class or if you needed assistance. This is your own private area to enjoy with your group.
Q: Is there a landline telephone?
A: No, so be sure to bring along your cell phone.
Q: What should guests bring?
A: Bring a sewing machine and all items needed to work on your project. The host provides irons and task lighting. Other items to consider bringing:

A special pillow if you require one (2 pillows per person and all bed linens are provided)

Coffee (the provided coffee makers can use k-cups or loose grounds)

Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, blow dryers, towels, and washcloths are provided)

Special CDs and/or DVDs (many DVDs and audiobooks are available, as well as the devices for playing them)
Q; Do you have WIFI?
A; Yes, it’s a complimentary amenity.
Q: How do guests get into the retreat?
A: Your group will be provided with a code to unlock the door during your stay.
Q: Can I reserve Inn Stitches for something other than quilting?
A: Yes! Although the house is designed with quilting in mind, any crafting or small group is welcome to come and enjoy the house and yard.
Q: What is included in the kitchenette?
A: Here’s what you will find available:

If you need fresh glasses and/or dishes during your visit, simply gather the dirty items in the bucket, then put it outside your door. We will wash the items for you and return them either outside the door or inside the retreat, depending on your preference.
Q: What if our group requires special check-in and/or check-out times?
A: Please contact us ahead of time to coordinate timing, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
